De vorbă cu Paula Dunia

We believe that admiration is the virtue of a strong person, and yes, we need more genuine appreciation in our society. Perhaps if everyone offered a sincere compliment when they admire something or someone, our lives would be a little more beautiful. This is how we thought of Paula Dunia, a woman who admires and is admired. So, we wanted to share some thoughts with you about the contemporary woman, in an interview with her.

  • Your local clothing brand, Tricoul inteligent (The Smart T-shirt), promotes strong and self-assured women. Why did you choose to do this?

I grew up in a patriarchy. In my childhood, my father had the first and last word. My attitude as a woman is a consequence of my family upbringing. What started as defiance continued and continues as a lifestyle. I have a brain, and I want to use it. I want to make mistakes, learn, and take responsibility. In short, it's about strong women. A concise answer about strong women. As for me, I became strong through acknowledged vulnerabilities and by detaching from my parents. That's how I gained my autonomy, a complex and natural process in individual development.

  • How do we differentiate between flaws we need to work on and those we need to embrace?

We categorize them: physical flaws and character flaws. After separating them, we see how we can work with each. Physical flaws require acceptance. For that, you need education. Education shifts your perspective on life. Beauty is fleeting. Beauty is changeable, one of the many advantages of a woman. Too many women rely solely on beauty. We work on character flaws throughout our lives. Learning never ends; it takes on different forms depending on age.

  • We all take time for ourselves occasionally, for self-care. What do you do when you have a day to yourself, besides reading?

Oh! I like to do a lot for myself. To savor a lunch. To drink a coffee. To seek out moods at theater shows. To get lost on little streets while traveling. To go for a massage. To get my hair and nails done. To laugh with family and friends. To plan shameless nights. To buy black dresses and expensive shoes.

  • What is never missing from your beauty routine?

Simple. Makeup removal, a good cream, and SPF.

  • You have wonderful skin, which people admire. What is its secret? How do you care for it?

They really look?! Hmm! I'm glad. I remove my makeup. I started in high school, and it rarely happened that I went to bed without removing my makeup. I use micellar lotion, thermal water, and cream. I also help my skin from the inside with supplements: collagen, vitamin C, etc. And every woman's secret is a fantastic beautician. I have one.

  • What do you think about Romanian brands, based on what you've tested so far?

I have a good relationship with Romanian brands and I don't hesitate to promote them at every opportunity.
