Resveratrol is a natural active ingredient, predominantly found in vine extract, grapes, and red wine. It is also generally present in dark-colored fruits (blueberries, blackberries, pomegranates, raspberries, and even dark chocolate). It belongs to the stilbenoid class and has earned its title as one of the most powerful antioxidants.
Slowing down the aging process is the main function of antioxidants, as they neutralize the action of free radicals, which destroy healthy cells and cause imbalances in the body. Free radicals are unstable atoms, originating from pollution, UV rays, and the natural process of fat burning. They are responsible for body aging and lead to cerebral deterioration.
Among the imbalances caused by free radicals is accelerated skin aging. This is why resveratrol is a reliable ally in maintaining skin youth. It also supports the cardiovascular system, protects against cancerous cells, and treats acne. Several studies have shown that it increases the longevity of several animal species and humans.
In the early 1980s, resveratrol became well-known in France due to the study by Serge Renaud, a professor at the University of Bordeaux. The study is known as the "French paradox" and originated from the idea that, although the French had a diet rich in fats and cholesterol, the death rate caused by cardiovascular diseases was much lower than in other populations with similar diets.
What was the explanation?
Despite having an unhealthy diet, they regularly consume red wine, rich in resveratrol, which helps them stay healthy. From this, the ingredient also gained the nickname "The French Paradox".

Learning from others and continuing our research, we have chosen to use resveratrol, found in organic vine extract, to keep our skin youthful for as long as possible. Thus, we created Momirov facial serum, with 24K gold and 7% Hyaluronic Acid.
In addition to gold particles and hyaluronic acid, resveratrol helps deeply hydrate the skin within minutes of use, and with prolonged use, it diminishes fine lines and skin imperfections.
